Sacred Ceremonies
When humans participate in ceremony, they enter a sacred space … The bodies of participants become filled with the energy of life, and this energy reaches out and blesses the creation around them. All is made new; everything becomes sacred.

Celebrations and rituals honor significant life transitions, and they bring meaning to our experiences. Whether traditional or original, they can touch us at the very root of what it is to be human and nourish our spirit.
When we come together to celebrate life-altering events – birth, entering adulthood, marriage, renewal of vows, to bless a home, landmark birthdays, memorials – we share our vulnerabilities and our dreams. These are the points in our lives when we gather with family and friends to share the wisdom, strength and love that community can bring.
Leslie was ordained in an interfaith tradition in 1984, and has performed hundreds of ceremonies in a variety of settings, from churches, homes, gardens to hill tops. The people she has worked with describe the experience as feeling “listened to and cared for…nurtured…she was able to express a true reflection of our experiences.”
Weddings
Entering marriage is one of the most powerful transitions a person can make, and the wedding ceremony can set the tone of a couple’s entire life together. Leslie works together with each couple to create a ceremony which is truly expressive of their ideals and style. Whether they are seeking a traditional or contemporary ceremony, couples from all backgrounds are welcome.
Memorials
A memorial service is an opportunity not only to honor the loss of a loved one, but also to celebrate a life lived. And through sharing memories and stories, the deep bonds of love abide. In the words of Khalil Gibran, “Love knows not the bounds of space and time. Let the winds of heaven dance between you, and let your love be like moving sea between the shores of your souls.”
Baby Blessings
What a delight and responsibility to welcome a new being into this world. Wishes are expressed for the young child to grow fully into who they are through love. By affirming the dedicated care of family and community, we wish for the child a life of fulfillment, meaning, and joy.
